Big Data: Size Isn’t Everything

The best articles are the ones you wish you wrote. Usually, these articles are so well-written and cover such an interesting topic, you get jealous that someone beat you to a punch you didn’t know existed. “Big Data, are we making a big mistake?”, is such an article. A cautious tale that’s part anecdote, part statistics and part business, Tim Harford does an excellent job laying out big data, its origins, and current problems. Please give it a read.
